Developed in conjunction with a transit infrastructure and streetscape improvements project in the Lower Lonsdale Avenue area, the Lost Cows of Lillooet references two historic transportation networks from the North Shore’s past: the Burrard-Lillooet Cattle Trail, and Log Flumes. By playfully contrasting past and present day activities, the public artwork celebrates the pioneer spirit that was integral to North Vancouver’s growth and development.
