Breathing new life into old materials, the new hammocks at New Westminster’s urban beach at Timber Wharf Park repurposes decommissioned municipal fire hoses into municipal recreational opportunities. Five rugged hammocks were commissioned, using salvaged fire hoses generously provide by the New Westminster fire and Rescue Services.
